“MERV” A city on the old Silk Road

Rare, ancient – possibly Sassanian (250-600AD) corner less cube faceted Lapis Lazuli. Valuable, treasured in ancient times, with a composite Roman glass – circa 200bce) bead, and contemporary rushed gold spacer beads. Hand wired by Savanna, Robertson, circa 2023.  I took the liberty of copying this design from Jewels of the Ancient World.  See the link here:  Jewels of the Ancient World.  It was such a beautiful piece I hope the person who found this wouldn’t mind me making quite a good job of it, if I may say so! Anyway, I linked and looped all the beads together with gold washed wire, blistering my fingers, so I could make some history myself.
