This wonderful pendant is an orphan earring,, and we all know we don’t ditch our earrings. This one has been around since the 1800’s, all the way from Uzbekistan. It’s a magnificent piece of silverware, with intricate chains working into the coral. In the middle of the pendant and the back of the necklace, I’ve put a lucky silver Tuareg bead from Morocco which is supposed to keep the traveller safe. It’s flanked by two Uzbekistan beads. This is light and lovely, and full of history.
