Stunning, beautiful, rare, collectible … An Amber investment.
I bought this necklace, in a slightly different configuration, years and years ago, in Africa. It’s real highly valuable Amber, set delicately into separate silver pendants. I’ve recently restrung it on waxed cotton from the original, as one pendant broke and I had to ditch it. (sob). So this time I added a few cornerless cube Yemen beads, and some resin Amber beads, to the existing glass mock coral beads. The necklace ends with a link silver chain. So light, so beautiful, so treasured. I was told the pendants are from the 18th century. It also resembles the amulet type pendants from Nagaland, but I’m not an historian. Whatever, this is a rare, collectible, original amber necklace.??

As with all my creations, this is a unique, individual, one off that took me hours and hours to get just right. I collect all my components by scrabbling in souks and hessian bags and dusty shops for the most unique treasures my dealers can part with. Dents and dings from their journeys are part of the charm. You will be the new custodian of a piece of wearable art, that has its own story. Imagine if these beads could speak.
