Ancient Lapis Pendant Rock Crystal Necklace N643 “BAKU”

“BAKU” A city on the old Silk Road

What a treasure is this necklace.  An ancient, hand carved, gorgeous piece of Bactrian lapis, from Afghanistan – known as Bactria in the very olden days – dating thousands of years ago.  I’ve mixed it with other lapis from Afghanistan, carnelian, and ancient rock crystal from the Himalayas.  Gold was loved and treasured in those ancient days, but I’ve used some visually appropriate gold washed beads, and a new gold washed parrot clasp.
